He held clinical appointments at Boston's Beth Israel Hospital (now the Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center), and also held teaching appointments at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Brett Leimkuhler is a licensed psychologist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He founded The Center for Neuropsychology & Learning Disorders, Inc. in 1989 in Providence, RI. The practice moved to Wakefield, RI in 2005 and continues to serve clients from all over the state of Rhode Island as well as nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut.

My Philosophy

I believe that a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation should provide an in-depth understanding of the entire person. The goal is not merely to arrive at a diagnosis, although accurate diagnosis is important. The ultimate purpose is to promote deeper self-understanding and to enable each person to achieve his or her true potential.
